Hi, I am Vrushank Vyas. Many people recognize me as VYAS. I am an Engineer and Designer by Education and Entrepreneur by profession.

In the last ten years of professional work, I have developed a great interest in the field of Design, Innovation and technology. I have ventured into multiple ideas to solve big problems during this time.

I am currently directing Oizom - a cleantech startup in marketing and design verticle. Together we are solving air quality monitoring issues in more than 50+ countries globally. Along with Oizom, I have cofounded a MedTech startup focusing on affordable healthcare with tech and data.

Over this period, I have also found passion in academics. Sharing my knowledge and experience with young students gives me immense joy and satisfaction. I am currently teaching product design to students at CEPT University for the last three years.

I believe big problem requires simple but multiple solutions. So instead of trying to solve a big problem, I focus on one minor part of the issue and solve it completely.

We all know climate change is a big issue. But solving a big problem requires multiple solutions from multiple stakeholders. So, at Oizom, we focus only on providing tech to scale air quality monitoring globally, believing that others will get through with their part.

I follow the same philosophy within the company culture as well. We have built a system where each leader has a clear role assigned. We all focus on our part and expect others to come through their part. This approach results in a great collaborative culture, which drives growth. Instead of worrying about long-term goals, I focus on breaking them into micro-goals and achieving them one at a time.

Founded Oizom with a vision of making air quality data affordable and accessible. For six years, Oizom is monitoring the air quality of 23 million people every day in 47 countries globally.

Wellnest Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. was founded in 2018, with a common vision of making healthcare affordable and accessible to everyone. I was leading the product design and development until late 2021.

2011-2014

Persuied Industrial design as a part of full time masters program. A great learning experience for peers and experienced faculties. This phase also made me confident for my entrepreneur journey.

Founded product design studio with the vision of helping small and medium enterprises with their products. Worked with 30+ clients in five years.

2006-2010

B.E. in Mechanical

Sardar Patel University (SPU)

My curiocity about machines and how it functions took me on pursuing engineering. The four years laid the foundation of all the ventures I pursued in last decade.

2010-2011

Diploma in Fine Arts

Kanoria Centre for Arts

Took a break for a year post my engineering to learn art. I learned 10 different art medium in 12 months. I consider this a golden period which helped in creating balance between technical and creative thinking.
